AVALONIAN MIST

An Art and Travel blog from Albion.

Avalon Calls . . .

Something stirs in Albion...

Welcome to the Avalonian Mist! My name is Ginnie (pron. 'Jinny') and I'm an artist and writer, and I suppose content creator too. I feel so lucky and blessed to be from the British Isles - I have a deep love for my homeland, its nature, its history and its wisdom. It inspires a lot of my work, including this space as well.

I know I am not alone in these sentiments for my homeland in an age where disparagement is often thrown at its heritage, people and cultures. I suppose much of Avalonian Mist is my response to this world and life. It is my little corner of the internet that I can enjoy creative freedom, cultivating all the things that I love and interest me.

Avalonian Mist is an artistic expression and exploration - a digital scrapbook of things that I love, from expressions of art, adventures, writings, to general thoughts and discussions.

I hope that this is a sanctuary for the Old World, and for those who feel they perhaps belong to it.

- Thank you for being here, and I hope to see you in the A.M.
